अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)

इयं सा परमा शान्तिरियं सा निर्वति: परा । य॑ं प्राप्प कृतकृत्या: सम इत्यमन्यन्त योगिन:

iyaṃ sā paramā śāntir iyaṃ sā nirvṛtiḥ parā | yaṃ prāpya kṛtakṛtyāḥ sama ity amanyanta yoginaḥ ||

Vāyu sprach: „Dies ist wahrlich der höchste Friede; dies ist die erhabenste selige Ruhe. Wer ihn erlangt, die Yogins—die getan haben, was zu tun war—erachten alle Dinge als gleich.“
