The verse identifies the highest reality as simultaneously supreme bliss and the eternal principle, presenting it as the ultimate goal for the detached and the highest realization of the virtuous—linking ethical purity and renunciation to spiritual culmination.
Vāyudeva is speaking in praise of the supreme divine principle (understood in context as the highest Lord/reality), describing it as the eternal and blissful end sought by renunciants and realized by the good.
