अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
अयं ब्रह्मादिभि: सिद्धैर्गुहायां गोपित: प्रभु: । देवासुरमनुष्याणामप्रकाशो भवेदिति
ayaṁ brahmādibhiḥ siddhair guhāyāṁ gopitaḥ prabhuḥ | devāsura-manuṣyāṇām aprakāśo bhaved iti ||
Vāyu sprach: „Dieser höchste Herr ist von Brahmā und den vollendeten Weisen in der Höhle des Herzens verborgen worden, gleichsam in der Absicht, dass er Göttern, Asuras und Menschen nicht offenbar werde.“
