पुरूरवसमैलं च त्रिषु लोकेषु विश्रुतम्‌ बुधस्य दयितं पुत्र कीर्तयेद्‌ वसुधाधिपम्‌

purūravasaṃ ailam ca triṣu lokeṣu viśrutam | budhasya dayitaṃ putra kīrtayed vasudhādhipam ||

Bhishma sprach: „O Sohn, man soll den Namen des Königs Purūravas, des Nachkommen der Ilā, rühmen und rezitieren—berühmt in den drei Welten, Budhas geliebter Sohn und Herrscher der Erde.“
