अमृतांशूद्धवो भानु: शशबिन्दु: सुरेश्वर: । औषध॑ जगत: सेतु: सत्यधर्मपराक्रम:,२८३ अमृतांशूद्धव:-समुद्रमन्थन करते समय चन्द्रमाको उत्पन्न करनेवाले, २८४ भानु:-भासनेवाले, २८५ शशबिन्दु:-खरगोशके समान चिह्नवाले चन्द्रस्वरूप, २८६ सुरेश्वर:-देवताओंके ईश्वर, २०७ औषधम्‌-संसाररोगको मिटानेके लिये औषधरूप, २८८ जगत: सेतु:-संसार-सागरको पार करानेके लिये सेतुरूप, २८९ सत्यधर्मपराक्रम:- सत्यस्वरूप धर्म और पराक्रमवाले

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | amṛtāṃśūdbhavo bhānuḥ śaśabinduḥ sureśvaraḥ | auṣadhaṃ jagataḥ setuḥ satyadharmaparākramaḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma sprach: Er ist der Strahlende, der den nektartragenden Mond hervorgebracht hat; die leuchtende Sonne; der Mond mit dem Hasenmal; der Herr der Götter. Er ist die heilende Arznei für die Welt, die Brücke, die die Wesen über den Ozean des weltlichen Daseins trägt, und der, dessen Macht in Wahrheit und Dharma gründet.
