Educational Q&A

Exclusive devotion to Vāsudeva is presented as a supreme refuge: it removes inauspiciousness and dissolves existential fear—especially fear tied to the cycle of birth, death, aging, and illness.

In the Anuśāsana Parva’s instruction-setting, Bhīṣma continues his discourse on dharma and spiritual practice, praising devotion to Vāsudeva and describing its protective and liberating effects for the devotee.
