Educational Q&A

The verse teaches integrated devotion: reverence to the Lord should be expressed through all three channels—actions (karma), inner intention (manas), and speech (vāc). True worship is not merely ritual but a disciplined, continuous orientation of one’s whole life toward the divine, culminating in seeking darśana (direct spiritual encounter).

Īśvara speaks as an authoritative voice, instructing the dvijas on proper religious conduct: they should continually salute the Lord and, with earnest effort, engage in worshipful attendance and seek the vision of Devakī’s son, Kṛṣṇa.
