Shloka 3

भीष्मस्योत्तरायणप्रतीक्षा तथा युधिष्ठिरागमनम् | Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival

दशबाहुर्महातेजा देवतारिनिषूदन: । श्रीवत्साड़को हृषीकेश: सर्वदैवतपूजित:,उनकी भुजाएँ दस हैं, वे महान्‌ तेजस्वी हैं, देवद्रोहियोंका नाश करनेवाले श्रीवत्सभूषित भगवान्‌ हृषीकेश सम्पूर्ण देवताओंद्वारा पूजित होते हैं

daśabāhur mahātejā devatāri-niṣūdanaḥ | śrīvatsāṅko hṛṣīkeśaḥ sarva-devata-pūjitaḥ ||

Īśvara sprach: „Er ist zehnarmig und von ungeheurer Pracht, ein Vernichter derer, die sich den Göttern widersetzen. Mit dem Śrīvatsa gezeichnet, wird jener Herr Hṛṣīkeśa von allen Gottheiten verehrt und angebetet.“
