Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes continuity of cosmic and social order through rightful lineage: progenitors (Prajāpatis) arise according to an ordained sequence, underscoring responsibility in creation, governance, and sustaining dharma.

Īśvara foretells a genealogical development: ten sons known as the Pracetas will be born, and from them Dakṣa will manifest as a Prajāpati, indicating the re-emergence of a key progenitor figure in the cycle of creation.
