एतन्मे संशयं देव मुनिधर्मकृतं विभो । सर्वरधर्मार्थतत्त्वज्ञ देवदेव वदस्व मे । निखिलेन मया पृष्टं महादेव यथातथम्‌

etan me saṁśayaṁ deva munidharmakṛtaṁ vibho | sarvadharmārthatattvajña devadeva vadasva me | nikhilena mayā pṛṣṭaṁ mahādeva yathātatham ||

O Herr, dieser mein Zweifel betrifft den Dharma, den die Weisen üben. O Allgegenwärtiger, o Gott der Götter, du, der das wahre Wesen und den Sinn jeder Gestalt des Dharma kennt — sage es mir. O Mahādeva, ich habe dich vollständig gefragt; darum erkläre es mir ganz und genau, wie es ist.
