ब्राह्मणपूजायां व्युष्टिः — Vyuṣṭi (Merit-Outcome) of Honoring Brāhmaṇas: Kṛṣṇa and Durvāsā
किमर्थमृषिपूगस्य त्यक्तसड्रस्य नित्यश: । निर्ममस्यागमवतो विस्मय: समुपागत:,“महर्षियो! ऋषिसमुदाय तो आसक्ति और ममतासे रहित है! सबको शास्त्रोंका ज्ञान है, फिर भी आपलोगोंको आश्चर्य क्यों हो रहा है?
kimartham ṛṣipūgasya tyaktasaṅgasya nityaśaḥ | nirmamasya āgamavato vismayaḥ samupāgataḥ ||
Bhīṣma sprach: „Warum ist in dieser Versammlung der Seher Staunen aufgekommen—bei denen, die stets frei von Anhaftung sind, ohne Besitzdenken, und kundig in den heiligen Lehren? Welchen Grund kann es für Verwunderung geben unter denen, die das Festhalten aufgegeben haben und die Śāstras kennen?“
