अभोज्याश्रैव भोज्याक्ष मया प्रोक्ता यथाविधि । किमन्यदद्य कौन्तेय मत्तस्त्वं श्रोतुमिच्छसि
abhojyāś caiva bhojyāś ca mayā proktā yathāvidhi | kim anyad adya kaunteya mattas tvaṃ śrotum icchasi, kuntīnandana ||
Bhishma sprach: „Ich habe ordnungsgemäß, nach der rechten Vorschrift, dargelegt, wer würdig ist, Gastfreundschaft zu empfangen, und wessen Speise man nicht annehmen soll. Nun, o Sohn der Kunti, was wünschst du heute noch von mir zu hören?“
