Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
एवमुक्ता तदा कृष्ण माता मे सुतवत्सला । मूर्थन्याप्राय गोविन्द सबाष्पाकुललोचना
evam uktā tadā kṛṣṇa mātā me sutavatsalā | mūrdhny āprāya govinda sabāṣpākulalocanā ||
Als ich so gesprochen hatte, wurde meine Mutter—zärtlich in mütterlicher Liebe—von Tränen überwältigt. O Govinda, sie trat nahe heran, drückte ihr Gesicht an meinen Kopf, als wolle sie seinen Duft einatmen, und begann mit vom Weinen getrübten Augen meine Glieder zu streicheln. Dann sprach sie, gedämpft und bekümmert, mit leiser, klagender Stimme.
