This line is a colophon marking the end of a chapter; it highlights that the completed unit belongs to the Dāna-dharma teachings and is titled “The Secret Concerning the Pitṛs,” implying an ethical focus where giving and righteous conduct are linked to obligations toward ancestors and the continuity of moral order.
No new action occurs here; the text formally closes the chapter, identifying its placement (within Anuśāsana Parva, in the Dāna-dharma section) and its title (Pitṛ-rahasya), functioning as an editorial/narrative boundary marker.
