मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
संख्यामतिगुणां चापि तेषु लोकेषु मोदते । उन सभी स्थानोंमें सफलमनोरथ होकर वह देवकन्याओंद्वारा पूजित होता है तथा जिस यज्ञमें बहुत-से सुवर्णकी दक्षिणा दी जाती है
saṅkhyām atiguṇāṁ cāpi teṣu lokeṣu modate |
Bhishma sagt, dass ein solcher Mensch in jenen Himmelswelten in einem Maß frohlockt, das jede gewöhnliche Rechnung übersteigt. Alle Wünsche sind ihm erfüllt; von himmlischen Jungfrauen wird er geehrt und verehrt; und er erlangt dasselbe Verdienst wie bei einem Opfer, in dem reichlich Gold als dakṣiṇā gegeben wird. Unzählige Jahre genießt er Glück in jenen Sphären—eine ethische Bekräftigung, dass großzügiges, dharmagemäßes Geben erhabene und dauerhafte Früchte trägt.
