गवां मेधस्य यज्ञस्य फल प्राप्नोत्यनुत्तमम् । जो बारह महीनेतक सदा अन्निहोत्र करता
Translation
Er erlangt die unvergleichliche Frucht des Gomedha-Opfers. Wer zwölf Monate lang beständig das Agnihotra vollzieht, zu allen drei Sandhyā-Zeiten badet, Brahmacarya wahrt, die Fehler anderer nicht betrachtet und, in der Lebensweise eines muni, nur an jedem sechsten Tag einmal speist, empfängt das höchste Verdienst des Gomedha-yajña.
