मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
भोगवांस्तेजसा युक्तो वैश्वानरसमप्रभ:
bhogavāṁs tejasā yukto vaiśvānarasamaprabhaḥ | rudrāṇāṁ ca tathā lokaṁ brahmalokaṁ ca gacchati ||
Bhishma sagte: Mit Genuss und Wohlstand begabt und mit geistiger Strahlkraft vereint—leuchtend wie Vaiśvānara, das kosmische Feuer—erlangt dieser Mensch erhabene Sphären: die Welt der Rudras und sogar die Welt Brahmās. Der Vers stellt leuchtende Selbstzucht und göttlich ausgerichtetes Handeln als Weg dar, der nicht nur zu weltlichem Genuss, sondern zu höheren Seinszuständen und zur Gemeinschaft mit der göttlichen Ordnung führt.
