अध्याय ९५: चित्राङ्गदस्य गन्धर्वेण सह संग्रामः तथा विचित्रवीर्यस्य राज्याभिषेकः
Chitrāṅgada’s duel with the Gandharva and Vicitravīrya’s consecration
अथाभ्यगच्छद् भरतान् वसिष्ठो भगवानृषि: । तमागतं प्रयत्नेन प्रत्युदूगम्याभिवाद्य च,इसी समय उनके पास भगवान् महर्षि वसिष्ठ आये। उन्हें आया देख भरतवंशियोंने प्रयत्नपूर्वक उनकी अगवानी की और प्रणाम करके सबने उनके लिये अर्घ्य अर्पण किया। फिर उन तेजस्वी महर्षिको सत्कारपूर्वक अपना सर्वस्व समर्पण करके उत्तम आसनपर बिठाकर राजाने स्वयं उनका वरण करते हुए कहा--“भगवन्! हम पुनः राज्यके लिये प्रयत्न कर रहे हैं। आप हमारे पुरोहित हो जाइये'
athābhyagacchad bharatān vasiṣṭho bhagavān ṛṣiḥ | tam āgataṃ prayatnena pratyudūgamyābhivādya ca |
Dann trat der ehrwürdige ṛṣi Vasiṣṭha zu den Fürsten der Bharatas. Als sie ihn kommen sahen, erhoben sie sich mit gebührender Sorgfalt zum Empfang, gingen ihm entgegen, erwiesen ihm ehrerbietige Grüße und brachten ihm das Arghya nach dem Ritus dar.
