तेषां तंसुर्महावीर्य: पौरवं वंशमुद्रहन्‌ आजहार यशो दीप्तं जिगाय च वसुन्धराम्‌,इनमें महापराक्रमी तंसुने पौरव वंशका भार वहन करते हुए उज्ज्वल यशका उपार्जन किया और सारी पृथ्वीको जीत लिया

Transliteration

teṣāṃ taṃsur mahāvīryaḥ pauravaṃ vaṃśam udvahan ājahāra yaśo dīptaṃ jigāya ca vasundharām

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Unter ihnen errang der überaus mächtige Tansu, der die Bürde der Paurava-Linie trug, strahlenden Ruhm und brachte die ganze Erde unter seine Herrschaft.
