ययातिरुवाच सर्वैरिदानीं गन्तव्यं सह स्वर्गजितो वयम्‌ | एष नो विरजा: पन्था दृश्यते देवसझन:,ययाति बोले--हम सब लोगोंने साथ-साथ स्वर्गपर विजय पायी है, इसलिये इस समय सबको वहाँ चलना चाहिये। देवलोकका यह रजोहीन सात्त्विक मार्ग हमें स्पष्ट दिखायी दे रहा है

yayātir uvāca sarvair idānīṁ gantavyaṁ saha svargajito vayam | eṣa no virajaḥ panthā dṛśyate devasadanam ||

Yayāti sprach: „Nun müssen wir alle gemeinsam gehen. Als eine einzige Schar haben wir den Himmel errungen; darum ist es Zeit, dorthin aufzubrechen. Seht—dieser makellose, staublose Pfad zur Wohnstatt der Götter liegt uns klar vor Augen.“
