Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence
आकारं गूहमाना च मन्युना च समीरिता । तपसा सम्भूृतं तेजो धारयामास वै तदा,क्रोध उसे उत्तेजित कर रहा था, फिर भी उसने अपने आकारको छिपाये रखा और तपस्याद्वारा संचित किये हुए अपने तेजको वह अपने भीतर ही धारण किये रही
ākāraṁ gūhamānā ca manyunā ca samīritā | tapasā sambhṛtaṁ tejo dhārayāmāsa vai tadā ||
Duṣyanta sprach: „Obwohl Empörung sie aufwühlte, verbarg sie ihr äußeres Wesen; und damals hielt sie den durch Askese angesammelten Glanz in sich zurück, zügelte ihre Macht, statt dem Zorn die Führung über ihr Handeln zu überlassen.“
