Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence

नारीणां चिरवासो हि बान्धवेषु न रोचते । कीर्तिचारित्रधर्मघ्नस्तस्मान्नयत मा चिरम्,'स्त्रियोंका अपने भाई-बन्धुओंके यहाँ अधिक दिनोंतक रहना अच्छा नहीं होता। वह उनकी कीर्ति, शील तथा पातिव्रत्य धर्मका नाश करनेवाला होता है। अतः इसे अविलम्ब पतिके घरमें पहुँचा दो”
Translation
Für eine Frau ziemt es sich nicht, lange im Hause von Brüdern und Verwandten zu verweilen; das vernichtet Ruhm, Sittsamkeit und das Dharma ehelicher Treue. Darum bringt sie unverzüglich in das Haus ihres Gatten.“
