कृतकार्या ततस्तूर्णमगच्छच्छक्रसंसदम् | त॑ं वने विजने गर्भ सिंहव्याप्रसमाकुले
kṛtakāryā tatas tūrṇam agacchac chakrasaṃsadam | taṃ vane vijane garbha siṃhavyāghrasamākule
Nachdem sie ihr Vorhaben vollendet hatte, eilte sie zur Versammlung Śakras (Indras). In jenem einsamen, abgelegenen Wald—wo die Schwangere in einem Gebiet zurückgelassen wurde, das von Löwen und Tigern heimgesucht wird—schildert Kaṇva die gefährliche Szenerie, die die folgende moralische Pflicht zu Schutz und Fürsorge umrahmt.

The verse underscores dharmic responsibility toward those left vulnerable: once an agent has fulfilled a goal and departs, the moral weight shifts to the surrounding community or guardians to ensure safety and care, especially in a dangerous environment.
Kaṇva narrates that, after completing her purpose, the departing figure goes swiftly to Indra’s court, while the scene is set in a lonely forest described as dangerous—frequented by lions and tigers—highlighting the precarious situation of the pregnant one left there.
