पजञ्चमस्त्वभवत्‌ तेषां प्रवरो यो महासुर: । महौजा इति विख्यातो बभूवेह परंतप:,कालेयोंमें जो पाँचवाँ श्रेष्ठ महादैत्य था, वही इस लोकमें शत्रुतापन महौजाके नामसे विख्यात हुआ

pañcamas tv abhavat teṣāṁ pravaro yo mahāsuraḥ | mahaujā iti vikhyāto babhūveha parantapaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Unter ihnen wurde der Fünfte—der vorzüglichste der großen Asuras—in dieser Welt als Mahaujā berühmt, ein Versenger der Feinde.
