King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
लक्षणं चैतदेवेह भविता ते नराधिप । इन्द्रमालेति विख्यातं धन्यमप्रतिमं महत्,नरेश्वर! यह माला ही इन्द्रमालाके नामसे विख्यात होकर इस जगत्में तुम्हारी पहचान करानेके लिये परम धन्य एवं अनुपम चिह्न होगी
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
lakṣaṇaṃ caitad eveha bhavitā te narādhipa |
indramāleti vikhyātaṃ dhanyam apratimaṃ mahat ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: «Eben dies wird hier dein Erkennungszeichen sein, o König. Als “Indramālā” gerühmt, wird diese große, unvergleichliche und glückverheißende Girlande zum Zeichen werden, an dem man dich in der Welt erkennt.»
