Jaratkāru’s Marital Compact and Departure (जरत्कारु–जरत्कारुणी संवादः)
त॑ दृष्टवा जीवितं वृक्ष काश्यपेन महात्मना । उवाच तक्षको ब्रह्मन् नैतदत्यद्भुतं त्वयि,महात्मा काश्यपद्वारा जिलाये हुए उस वृक्षको देखकर तक्षकने कहा--'ब्रह्मन! तुम- जैसे मन्त्रवेत्तामें ऐसे चमत्कारका होना कोई अद्भुत बात नहीं है
taṁ dṛṣṭvā jīvitaṁ vṛkṣaṁ kāśyapena mahātmanā | uvāca takṣako brahman naitad atyadbhutaṁ tvayi ||
Als Takṣaka sah, dass der großherzige Kāśyapa den Baum wieder zum Leben gebracht hatte, sagte er: „O Brahmane, das ist bei dir keineswegs erstaunlich.“
