Jaratkāru’s Conditional Marriage Vow and Vāsuki’s Offer
A righteous king honors learned and truthful speakers, and a brahmin-messenger or adviser should communicate the matter completely and accurately (aśeṣataḥ), without concealment—an ethic of respectful reception and faithful reporting.
After being received with honor by the king, the brahmin named Gauramukha—tired from his efforts—relates the entire account to the king in full detail.
