यजत: पुत्रकामस्य कश्यपस्य प्रजापते: । साहाय्यमृषयो देवा गन्धर्वाश्व ददु: किल,कहते हैं, प्रजापति कश्यपजी पुत्रकी कामनासे यज्ञ कर रहे थे, उसमें ऋषियों, देवताओं तथा गन्धर्वोने भी उन्हें बड़ी सहायता दी

yajataḥ putrakāmasya kaśyapasya prajāpateḥ |
sāhāyyam ṛṣayo devā gandharvāś ca daduḥ kila ||
Es heißt, dass Prajāpati Kaśyapa, der sich Nachkommenschaft wünschte, ein Opfer darbrachte; dabei leisteten ihm die Weisen, die Götter und auch die Gandharvas große Hilfe.
