Nāga-prādhānya-nāma-kathana

तदिदं सफल कर्म त्वयैव प्रतिगृह्ताम्‌ । तथा चैवं विधत्स्वात्र यथा श्रेयोडनुपश्यसि,वालखिल्योंने कहा--प्रजापते! हम सब लोगोंका यह अनुष्ठान इन्द्रके लिये हुआ था और आपका यह यज्ञसमारोह संतानके लिये अभीष्ट था। अत: इस फलसहित कर्मको आप ही स्वीकार करें और जिसमें सबकी भलाई दिखायी दे, वैसा ही करें

tad idaṃ saphalaṃ karma tvayaiva pratigṛhyatām | tathā caivaṃ vidhatsvātra yathā śreyo 'nupaśyasi ||

Darum nimm dieses Werk — das nun seine Frucht trägt — du allein an. Und richte hier alles so ein, dass du klar erkennst, was zum höchsten Heil für alle Beteiligten führt.
