Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)

दयार्थ वालखिल्यानां न च स्थानमविन्दत । स गत्वा पर्वतश्रेष्ठ गन्धमादनमञज्जसा,वालखिल्य ऋषियोंके ऊपर दयाभाव होनेके कारण ही वे कहीं बैठ न सके और उड़ते- उड़ते अनायास ही पर्वतश्रेष्ठ गन्धमादनपर जा पहुँचे

dayārthaṃ vālakhilyānāṃ na ca sthānam avindata | sa gatvā parvataśreṣṭhaṃ gandhamādanam añjasā ||

Aus Mitleid mit den Vālakhilya-Weisen fand er keinen Ort, an dem er sich setzen oder zur Ruhe kommen konnte. So eilte er ohne Zögern zum Gandhamādana, dem erhabensten aller Berge—geleitet von Erbarmen und ehrfürchtiger Achtung vor den Asketen.
