स॒तच्छुत्वा आरुणिरुपाध्यायवाक्यं तस्मात्‌ केदारखण्डातू सहसोत्थाय तमुपाध्यायमुपतस्थे,उपाध्यायका यह वचन सुनकर आरुणि पांचाल सहसा उस क्यारीकी मेड़से उठा और उपाध्यायके समीप आकर खड़ा हो गया

tat śrutvā āruṇir upādhyāya-vākyaṃ tasmāt kedāra-khaṇḍāt tu sahasotthāya tam upādhyāyam upatasthe

Als Āruṇi die Worte seines Lehrers vernahm, erhob er sich sogleich aus jenem Abschnitt des Reisfeldes, trat zu seinem Präzeptor und stand in wacher Bereitschaft vor ihm—ein Zeichen unverzüglichen Gehorsams und disziplinierten Respekts vor dem Gebot des Guru.
