Shloka 44

आश्षूर्यमगमंस्तत्र मुनयो नभसि स्थिता: । श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनके द्वारा देवताओंकी गति कुण्ठित हुई देख आकाशमें खड़े हुए महर्षिगण बड़े आश्चर्यमें पड़ गये || ४३ $ ।। शक्रश्नापि तयोरवीर्यमुपलभ्यासकृद्‌ रणे

āścaryam agamaṃs tatra munayo nabhasi sthitāḥ | śakraś cāpi tayor vīryam upalabhya asakṛd raṇe ... |

Da gerieten die Weisen, die im Himmel standen, in großes Staunen, als sie sahen, dass Lauf und Macht der Götter durch Kṛṣṇa und Arjuna gehemmt worden waren. Selbst Śakra (Indra), der ihre Tapferkeit im Kampf wieder und wieder erblickte, musste ihre außergewöhnliche Stärke zur Kenntnis nehmen.
