ततः समुद्यतां दृष्टवा देवेन्द्रेण महाशनिम् । जगृहुः सर्वशस्त्राणि स्वानि स्वानि सुरास्तथा,देवराज इन्द्रको वह महान् वज्र उठाये देख देवताओंने भी अपने-अपने सम्पूर्ण अस्त्र- शस्त्र ले लिये
tataḥ samudyatāṁ dṛṣṭvā devendreṇa mahāśanim | jagṛhuḥ sarvaśastrāṇi svāni svāni surās tathā ||
Daraufhin, als sie sahen, wie Devendra (Indra) den mächtigen Vajra emporhob, ergriffen auch die Götter, ein jeder, sein vollständiges Waffenarsenal.
