Chapter 213

तां मामनड्रग्लपितां त्वत्कृते कुरुनन्दन । अनन्यां नन्दयस्वाद्य प्रदानेनात्मनोडनघ,निष्पाप कुरुनन्दन! मैं आपके ही लिये कामदेवके तापसे जली जा रही हूँ। मैंने आपके सिवा दूसरेको अपना हृदय अर्पण नहीं किया है। अतः मुझे आत्मदान देकर आनन्दित कीजिये

tāṃ mām anāḍhya-glapitāṃ tvat-kṛte kuru-nandana | ananyāṃ nandayasvādya pradānenātmano 'nagha ||

„O Freude der Kurus, deinetwegen werde ich vom Liebesleid verzehrt und zermürbt. Keinem außer dir habe ich mein Herz geschenkt. Darum, o Makelloser, erfreue mich heute, indem du dich selbst in der Ehe hingibst.“
