नैषा तव ममैषेति ततस्तौ मन्युराविशत् | तस्या रूपेण सम्मत्तौ विगतस्नेहसौहदी,“यह तुम्हारी नहीं है, मेरी है'' यही कहते-कहते उन दोनोंको क्रोध चढ़ आया। तिलोत्तमाके रूपसे मतवाले होकर वे दोनों स्नेह और सौहार्दसे शून्य हो गये
