Grāha-Encounter at Saubhadra Tīrtha

ततः पितामहः साक्षादभिगम्य महासुरौ । वरेणच्छन्दयामास सर्वलोकहित: प्रभु:,तब सम्पूर्ण लोकोंके हितैषी पितामह साक्षात्‌ भगवान्‌ ब्रह्माने उन दोनों महादैत्योंके निकट आकर उन्हें इच्छानुसार वर माँगनेको कहा

tataḥ pitāmahaḥ sākṣād abhigamya mahāsurau | vareṇecchandayāmāsa sarvalokahitaḥ prabhuḥ ||

Da trat der Großvater selbst—Brahmā, der Herrscher, der das Wohl aller Welten sucht—zu jenen beiden mächtigen Asuras heran und forderte sie auf, nach ihrem Wunsch eine Gabe zu wählen.
