Satya-vrata at Khaṇḍavaprastha
यथैव पाण्डोस्ते वीरा: कुन्तीपुत्रा महारथा: । तथैव धर्मत: सर्वे मम पुत्रा न संशय:,कुन्तीके वीर महारथी पुत्र जैसे पाण्डुके लड़के हैं, उसी प्रकार धर्मकी दृष्टिसे वे सब मेरे भी पुत्र हैं-“-इसमें संशय नहीं है
yathaiva pāṇḍos te vīrāḥ kuntīputrā mahārathāḥ | tathaiva dharmataḥ sarve mama putrā na saṁśayaḥ ||
Vidura sagte: „Wie jene Helden—Kuntīs Söhne—die großen Wagenkämpfer Pāṇḍus sind, so sind sie auch, vom Standpunkt des Dharma aus, allesamt meine Söhne—daran besteht kein Zweifel.“
