खाण्डवप्रस्थप्रवेशः तथा इन्द्रप्रस्थनिर्माणवर्णनम् | Entry into Khāṇḍavaprastha and Description of Indraprastha’s Founding

धिगकुर्वस्तदा भीष्म॑ धृतराष्ट्रं च कौरवम्‌ | कर्मणातिनृशंसेन पुरोचनकृतेन वै,पुरोचनके किये हुए अत्यन्त क्रूरतापूर्ण कर्मका स्मरण हो आनेसे उस समय सभी नरेश कुरुवंशी धृतराष्ट्र तथा भीष्मको धिक्कारने लगे

dhig akurvans tadā bhīṣma dhṛtarāṣṭraṃ ca kauravam | karmaṇā tinṛśaṃsena purocanakṛtena vai |

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Als sie an die überaus grausame Tat erinnerten, die Purocana verübt hatte, begannen die versammelten Könige damals, Bhīṣma und auch Dhṛtarāṣṭra aus dem Kuru-Geschlecht zu schmähen und „Schande!“ zu rufen—wegen ihrer Mitschuld und ihres Versagens, solch erbarmungsloses Unrecht zu zügeln.
