द्रौपदी-वरण-प्रत्ययः — Intelligence Reports and the Kaurava Court’s Response
कृतं हि तत् स्यात् सुकृतं ममेद॑ यशभश्न पुण्यं च हितं तदेतत् । “उनका यह कहना है कि यदि मेरा यह मनोरथ पूर्ण हो जाय, तो मैं समझूँगा कि यह मेरे शुभ कर्मोका फल प्राप्त हुआ है। यही मेरे लिये यश, पुण्य और हितकी बात होगी”
kṛtaṃ hi tat syāt sukṛtaṃ mamedaṃ yaśaś ca puṇyaṃ ca hitaṃ tad etat |
Wenn sich jener Wunsch von mir erfüllt, werde ich ihn als die wahre Frucht meiner guten Taten ansehen. Für mich allein würde dies zu Ruhm, Verdienst und echtem Nutzen werden — ein Ausgang im Einklang mit dem Dharma und dem Heilsamen.
