दिष्ट्या सर्वे पावकाद्‌ विप्रमुक्ता यूयं घोरात्‌ पाण्डवा: शत्रुसाहा: । दिष्ट्या पापो धृतराष्ट्रस्य पुत्र: सहामात्यो न सकामो5भविष्यत्‌,धर । ५ |४-- ५६६ 5075. ३००. २. ८४४४“ | या, “बड़े सौभाग्यकी बात है कि शत्रुओंका सामना करनेकी शक्ति रखनेवाले आप सभी पाण्डव उस भयंकर अग्निकाण्डसे जीवित बच गये। पापी धृतराष्ट्रपुत्र दुर्योधन अपने मन्त्रियोंसहित इस षड्यन्त्रमें सफल न हो सका, यह भी सौभाग्यकी ही बात है

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

diṣṭyā sarve pāvakād vipramuktā yūyaṃ ghorāt pāṇḍavāḥ śatrusāhāḥ |

diṣṭyā pāpo dhṛtarāṣṭrasya putraḥ sahāmātyo na sakāmo 'bhaviṣyat, dhara ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Durch gutes Geschick seid ihr alle, die Pāṇḍavas—standhaft im Angesicht der Feinde—aus jenem schrecklichen Feuer befreit worden. Und es ist ebenso ein Segen, dass der sündige Sohn Dhṛtarāṣṭras samt seinen Ministern seinen ruchlosen Plan nicht vollenden konnte.“
