धृष्टद्युम्नेन समागतक्षत्रियगणगणना
Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s Enumeration of Assembled Kṣatriyas
ततः प्रविष्टे राजर्षो तस्मिंस्तत् पुरमुत्तमम् । राज्ञस्तस्याज्ञया देवी वसिष्ठमुपचक्रमे,राजर्षि कल्माषपादके उस उत्तम नगरीमें प्रवेश करनेके पश्चात् उक्त महाराजकी आज्ञाके अनुसार महारानी (मदयन्ती) महर्षि वसिष्ठजीके समीप गयीं
tataḥ praviṣṭe rājarṣau tasmiṁs tat puram uttamam | rājñas tasyājñayā devī vasiṣṭham upacakrame ||
Nachdem der königliche Rishi jene vortreffliche Stadt betreten hatte, trat die Königin—auf Geheiß des Königs—an den großen Seher Vasiṣṭha heran.
