द्रौपदी-स्वयंवर-प्रारम्भः

Commencement of Draupadī’s Svayaṃvara

तयोरविवदतोरेवं समीपमुपचक्रमे । ऋषिरुग्रतपा: पार्थ विश्वामित्र: प्रतापवान्‌,अर्जुन! जब राजा तथा ऋषिषपुत्र दोनों इस प्रकार विवाद कर रहे थे, उग्रतपस्वी प्रतापी विश्वामित्र मुनि उनके निकट चले गये

tayor avivadator evaṁ samīpam upacakrame | ṛṣir ugratapāḥ pārtha viśvāmitraḥ pratāpavān ||

O Pārtha, während die beiden so weiter stritten, trat der machtvolle Weise Viśvāmitra, berühmt für seine strengen Askesen, zu ihnen heran.
