Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse
ततो द्वादश वर्षाणि काननेषु वनेषु च । रेमे तस्मिन् गिरौ राजा तथैव सह भार्यया,वे उसी पर्वतके वनों और काननोंमें अपनी पत्नीके साथ उसी प्रकार बारह वर्षोंतक रमण करते रहे
tato dvādaśa varṣāṇi kānaneṣu vaneṣu ca | reme tasmin girau rājā tathaiva saha bhāryayā ||
Daraufhin verweilte der König zwölf Jahre lang in den Hainen und Wäldern jenes Berges und lebte dort, wie zuvor, zusammen mit seiner Gemahlin in stiller Zurückgezogenheit.
