Vasiṣṭhasya śokaḥ, Vipāśā–Śatadrū-nāmākaraṇam, Kalmāṣapādasya bhaya-prasaṅgaḥ (Ādi Parva 167)

तदपश्यमहं भ्रातुरसाम्प्रतमनुव्रजन्‌ । विमर्श संकरादाने नायं कुर्यात्‌ कदाचन,“मैं भी भाईके पीछे-पीछे जा रहा था; अतः मैंने उनके इस अयोग्य कार्यको देख लिया और सोचा कि ये अपवित्र वस्तुको ग्रहण करनेमें भी कभी कोई विचार नहीं करते

tad apaśyam ahaṃ bhrātur asāmpratam anuvrajan | vimarśa saṅkarādāne nāyaṃ kuryāt kadācana ||

Ich ging meinem Bruder nach und sah, was er eben getan hatte. Als ich über das Annehmen von Befleckendem ohne Unterscheidung nachdachte, kam mir: „So etwas dürfte er niemals tun—etwas Verunreinigendes ohne gebührende Prüfung annehmen.“
