आज्ञापितं मामशने रुदन्तं सह बन्धुभि: । ददर्श ब्राह्मण: ककश्चिन्मन्त्रसिद्धो महामना:,“कल जब मुझे भोजन पहुँचानेकी आज्ञा मिली, उस समय मैं अपने बन्धुजनोंके साथ रो रहा था। इस दशामें मुझे एक विशाल हृदयवाले मन्त्रसिद्ध ब्राह्मणने देखा
ājñāpitaṃ mām aśane rudantaṃ saha bandhubhiḥ | dadarśa brāhmaṇaḥ kaścin mantrasiddho mahāmanāḥ |
Als man mir befahl, das Essen zu bringen, weinte ich zusammen mit meinen Verwandten. In diesem Zustand sah mich ein Brahmane — großherzig und in Mantras vollendet.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even amid distress and humiliation, the narrative suggests that aid can arise through the presence of a virtuous and spiritually accomplished person; compassion and spiritual power become instruments for restoring order and hope.
The speaker recounts being assigned the task of bringing/providing food while he and his relatives were crying; at that moment, an accomplished Brahmin notices him, setting up an intervention or turning point.
