भ्राता च मम बालो<यं गते लोकममुं त्वयि । अचिरेणैव कालेन विनश्येत न संशय:,“यदि आप परलोकवासी हो गये तो यह मेरा नन्हा-सा भाई थोड़े ही समयमें नष्ट हो जायगा, इसमें संशय नहीं है

bhrātā ca mama bālo ’yaṃ gate lokam amuṃ tvayi | acireṇaiva kālena vinaśyet na saṃśayaḥ ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: „Dieser mein kleiner Bruder ist noch ein Kind. Wenn du in jene Welt hinübergehst, wird er in kurzer Zeit gewiss zugrunde gehen — daran besteht kein Zweifel.“
