भीमस्य जलान्वेषणं तथा वनविश्रान्तिः
Bhīma’s Search for Water and the Forest Halt
अर्जुन उवाच सम्बन्धी कुरुवीराणां द्रुपदो राजसत्तम: । मा वधीस्तद्धलं भीम गुरुदानं प्रदीयताम्,तब अर्जुनने कहा--भैया भीमसेन! राजाओंमें श्रेष्ठ द्रपद कौरववीरोंके सम्बन्धी हैं, अतः इनकी सेनाका संहार न करो; केवल गुरुदक्षिणाके रूपमें द्रोणके प्रति महाराज द्रपदको ही दे दो
arjuna uvāca — sambandhī kuruvīrāṇāṁ drupado rājasattamaḥ | mā vadhīs tadbalaṁ bhīma gurudānaṁ pradīyatām ||
Arjuna sprach: „O Bhima, König Drupada — der Vornehmste unter den Herrschern — ist ein Verwandter der Kuru-Helden. Darum schlachte sein Heer nicht nieder. Übergebt Drupada selbst Droṇa als gurudakṣiṇā, als die dem Lehrer geschuldete Gabe.“
