जतुगृहदाहः — The Burning of the Lac House and the Pāṇḍavas’ Concealed Escape
पार्थ यत् ते कृतं कर्म विशेषवदहं ततः । करिष्ये कह | मा55तमना विस्मयं गम:,“कुन्तीनन्दन! हे इन दर्शकोंके समक्ष जो कार्य किया है, मैं उससे भी अधिक अद्भुत कर्म कर दिखाऊँगा। अत: तुम अपने पराक्रमपर गर्व न करो”
pārtha yat te kṛtaṃ karma viśeṣavad ahaṃ tataḥ | kariṣye tato 'pi vismayaṃ gamayiṣyāmi kuntīnandana | ataḥ tvaṃ sva-parākrameṇa mā garvaṃ kṛthāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O Pārtha, die Tat, die du hier vor diesen Zuschauern vollbracht hast, ist wahrlich bemerkenswert; doch ich werde eine noch erstaunlichere Leistung vollbringen als diese. Darum, o Sohn Kuntīs, werde nicht stolz auf deine eigene Kraft.“
