Dhṛtarāṣṭra sprach: „O Bhāradvāja, du Bester unter den Zweimalgeborenen, du hast ein großes Werk vollbracht.“
धृतराष्ट उवाच
Actions that shape rulers—especially training in weapons and statecraft—are ‘great’ not only in scale but in moral consequence. The verse highlights responsibility: knowledge and power must be aligned with dharma, because their misuse can harm society.
Dhṛtarāṣṭra addresses Bhāradvāja respectfully and commends him for a significant accomplishment—understood in the surrounding context as the successful instruction and preparation of royal princes, an achievement with major implications for the kingdom’s future.
