परया श्रद्धयोपेतो योगेन परमेण च । विमोक्षादानसंधाने लघुत्वं परमाप सः,आचार्यमें उत्तम श्रद्धा रखकर उत्तम और भारी अभ्यासके बलसे उसने बाणोंके छोड़ने, लौटाने और संधान करनेमें बड़ी अच्छी फुर्ती प्राप्त कर ली

parayā śraddhayopeto yogena parameṇa ca | vimokṣa-dāna-sandhāne laghutvaṃ param āpa saḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Ausgestattet mit höchstem Glauben und getragen von erhabenster, disziplinierter Übung, erlangte er außergewöhnliche Schnelligkeit in den Künsten des Abschießens, Zurückholens und des genauen Anlegens der Pfeile an das Ziel—und zeigte, wie ehrfürchtige Hingabe an den Lehrer und strenges Training Geschick zur Meisterschaft läutern.
